Transferring Calls for Mobile, Desktop and Yealink Phones

How do you access company phone numbers and extensions?

The Phone Directory spreadsheet in the CAC Bookmarks section helps to locate the phone numbers for all facilities, including residents.

Step 1

While on an active call, click the transfer button, found on the right-hand side of the device (pictured below). 

Step 2

Dial the extension or phone number of where you wish to transfer the call

Step 3

Press the transfer button again when you are ready to transfer the call.

Step 1

While you are on a live call, select the button located on the right-hand side of the app labelled ‘Transfer.

Step 2

You must then type in the name or extension of the staff member or location you want to transfer the call to (e.g. O-LGF-KITCHEN).

Step 3

From here you are given the option to ‘Ask first’ or simply transfer the caller to the recipient.


When the "Ask first" option is selected, a pop-up will show that two calls are active simultaneously: one with the inbound caller and one with the new recipient.
