Password Health
As you add passwords to Dashlane, it will monitor the 'health' of your passwords. The two key things Dashlane will be checking for is:
Is a password not complex enough?
- Is the password used for more than one login?
Only passwords stored in Dashlane can be monitored for overall health.
All users should maintain an overall password health score of 95% or higher. Change weak passwords identified to improve your score.
Examples of weak passwords are:
- Iloveyou
- 1234567890
- 00000
- 123123
- qwerty
- password
| - 111111
- DEFAULT
- abc123
- qwertyuiop
- admin

These passwords all utilise consecutive lettering or numbering on a keyboard, repeated numbers, and any combination of these two, or are easy for hackers to guess.
Additionally, do not use any personal information in your passwords, such as a date of birth, or a person's name. Even nicknames may present an easy password for Cybercriminals to guess!
An example of a good password may be something based on a song title, where the lyrics are made into a complex sounding password. I.e the popular “Frozen” Lyric, “Let it Go” could be transcribed into a password such as: L3tITG0!. This would satisfy all the complexity requirements while making the password relatively easy to remember (but don't use this example!).
