Lost or Damaged Access Card or YubiKey? Here's What to Do

Losing or damaging your access card or YubiKey can be disruptive, but we're here to help get you back on track as quickly as possible.

Here's what you need to know:
  1. Report it immediately: If you lose or damage your access card or YubiKey, raise a case with the IT Department as soon as possible. This ensures our security and allows us to initiate the replacement process.
  2. Replacement time: Please be aware that ordering and receiving a replacement can take several working days, especially if postage is required.
  3. Fees may apply: A fee may apply to cover the cost of replacing your access card or YubiKey. These fees reflect the actual cost incurred by the organization and are reviewed periodically to ensure accuracy.

Current replacement costs (subject to change):

  1. YubiKey: $175 ex GST
  2. Access Card: $59 ex GST

Why do we charge for replacements?

The fees for replacement cards and YubiKeys help us to:
  1. Recover costs: Replacing these items involves expenses for the organisation.
  2. Encourage responsibility: Charging a fee encourages careful handling and safekeeping of these important access devices.
